Maison CAP started the way most real things do — not with a business plan, but with a feeling. Carlos has been drawn to fragrance since he was a kid, the kind of person who notices what a room smells like when he walks in. His girlfriend Alai shares that same obsession. Together, they built a collection that reflects what they actually love.
The name says it all. CAP stands for the two people behind it — two Venezuelans based in Miami who fell in love with fragrance and decided to share it with the world. What started as a curated shelf for family and friends became something bigger: a boutique built on the belief that great fragrance should be accessible to everyone.
The more time they spent in fragrance — comparing notes, testing bottles side by side, learning how the industry actually works — the more one thing became undeniable: great fragrance shouldn't cost a month's rent. The markup at department stores and luxury counters has almost nothing to do with what's inside the bottle. Maison CAP was built to fix that.

We grew up in Venezuela, where fragrance is part of everyday life — not a luxury, not a special occasion, just something you wear because you care about how you show up in the world. That sensibility is built into everything Maison CAP carries.
Miami is our home base and our test lab. The heat, the humidity, the culture — it shapes every curation decision we make. If a fragrance doesn't perform in South Florida, it doesn't make our collection. We serve Miami locals at our weekend pop-ups and flea markets, and ship across the US to anyone who finds us online.
